Advocating for Resources and Priorities

Baltimore’s Drug Strategy is comprehensive and fundamentally dependent on the commitment of citizens, community leaders, and lawmakers.  It is part of the bSAS mission to advocate for that commitment.  bSAS seeks to:

·          increase public and private funding for substance abuse prevention activities

·          develop and strengthen partnerships to advance the mission

·          report on the results of evidence-based approaches

·          educate the community about prevention, treatment, and recovery

·          develop and share innovative approaches

bSAS advocacy is led by a Committee of its Board of Directors.  For information, please contact Hirsh Goldberg, bSAS Public Affairs Officer at 410.637.1900 x217 or at hgoldberg@bsasinc.org.
