bSAS H1N1 Action Alert

Attention Providers

In anticipation of the upcoming influenza season and its potential impact on treatment programs and the clients served, bSAS’ has begun formulating a preemptive plan of action. emergency preparedness planning. Action items being considered implemented include:
  1. voluntary reporting process to allow programs to report high or abnormal occurrences of flu within programs;
  2. coordinated reporting to City Health Department;
  3. Information Dissemination and Exposure control.
Another key component of the bSAS strategy is to identify opportunities that allow programs to adopt pro-active approaches in response to concerns related to the spread of the H1N1 virus.
