bSAS H1N1 Action Alert

In anticipation of the upcoming influenza season and its potential impact on treatment programs and the clients served, bSAS’ has begun formulating a preemptive plan of action. emergency preparedness planning. Action items being considered implemented include:

voluntary reporting process to allow programs to report high or abnormal occurrences of flu within programs;
coordinated reporting to City Health Department;
Information Dissemination and Exposure control.

Another key component of the bSAS strategy is to identify opportunities that allow programs to adopt pro-active approaches in response to concerns related to the spread of the H1N1 virus.
